I mentioned the four thieves in my previous post “Expect the unexpected”, but it offers so much more than just an escape room, so i felt compelled to write a dedicated post to its wondrous offerings.
Nevermind four thieves, this place has enough to entertain Ali Baba and his crew of 40.
Boogaloo Stu and his brash brunch
If you’re looking for more Bloody Marys and Mimosas than you can shake a stick at, possibly the most lewd bingo commentary known to man and the chance to win some questionable prizes, then look no further.
You can book a table from 11, but the entertainment doesn’t usually start until 12.00. Personally id book for 11.30, its gives you more of a lie-in, while still giving you enough time to order and eat your brunch, before the mayhem commences.
When? Every Saturday from 11am-2pm
Where? Make sure you book in the boathouse to take advantage of the bingo fun
Upstairs you’ll find a feast for your eyes (if you’re into retro fun arcade games/have any sense of fun). From street fighter on the big screen to old skool table ice hockey to the neon golf course plonk! and not forgetting Moonshine raceway (think micro machines, but bigger!).
There’s enough here to keep you entertained for hours, plus it has its own bar, so you’ll be able to stay well hydrated while getting your adrenaline pumping.
When? Mon- Thurs 7pm-11pm, Fri 6pm-2am, Sat 12pm-2am, Sun 12pm-10pm
Where? Upstairs in the arcade room
And that’s not all
With an escape room, comedy night, dance classes, quiz nights and a Sunday roast (that if their brunch is anything to go by will be fantastic), you really have nothing to lose, get yourself down there stat!
